Environmental Policy
Mission
ITT McDonnell & Miller is dedicated to being a leader in environmental protection, human health & safety. Every employee of ITT McDonnell & Miller is responsible for achieving this mission as an integral part of their duties.

Principles
ITT McDonnell & Miller will:
  • Eliminate or minimize environmental pollution from the conduct of ITT McDonnell & Miller’s operations.
  • Reduce the creation of waste and dispose of such waste safely and responsibly.
  • Reduce the consumption of natural resources and energy.
  • Take all appropriate actions to ensure the safety of employees, customers and users of ITT McDonnell & Miller’s products.

Practices
To achieve these principles, ITT McDonnell & Miller will:
  • Educate and motivate ITT McDonnell & Miller employees to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Assess the environmental, safety and health implications of new products, processes and capital projects prior to implementation.
  • Improve, continuously, in all areas of environmental protection, human health & safety by setting goals and establishing a meaningful set of metrics to measure progress.
  • Audit, appropriately, all operations and practices for compliance with the spirit, as well as the letter, of all applicable laws, regulations and internal requirements, including these principles and practices.
  • Make consistent, measurable progress in implementing the principles of the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) and apply them to all aspects of our business.

Note: This policy statement will be communicated to all employees via internal postings and to the public the Internet. The Environmental Safety & Training Manager will complete this initial program task.
